WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
All History For Humans videos teach through the power of story to make the history relevant and meaningful to students. In lesson one students learn about the Trail of Tears, President Jackson's Indian Removal Policy, and the tragedy that befell the Cherokee and other tribes as they were pushed off their lands. In lesson two, students discover the mythology and real history behind the Battle of the Alamo and what led to the Texas Revolution. Next, students learn about Manifest Destiny and how this led to the Mexican-American War and the effects the war had on America. Lastly, students discover how the discovery of gold in California led to the mass migration westward and the lives of the forty-niners out west.
